Renovations are underway on the building at 930 W. Douglas in the Delano District. The historic building is being converted to office/retail space. WICHITA, KS – January 31, 2018– NAI Martens announced Wednesday that it brokered a 15-year lease agreement between the owners of Sweetbriar Shopping Center and Aldi. John O’Rourke and Nathan Farha represented the Sweetbriar ownership in the transaction. Aldi is already a tenant in the center, located at 2263 N. Glenn Cox, a financial analyst at NAI Martens, announced this week that he was awarded a scholarship through the NAI Global Young Professionals Network. The scholarship will allow Cox to take a class through the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks, or NAIOP. The class is normally $795 for non-members. Annually, only 10 NAIOP scholarships are offered around the world to NAI Young Professionals.   Site work has begun and construction will start later this month on a highly anticipated College Hill development. A local development group called Uptown Landing LLC recently closed on its purchase of more than 4.5 acres of land northeast of Hillside and Douglas.
